I haven't tried another candle yet, but the weather has gotten cold & snowy, so if I'm not going anywhere tomorrow, I'm staying home & plan on doing some housework, then having fun by making a few more candles. I got some tea cups from a lady off of Freecycle, & am planning on experimenting with them instead of the baby food jars. I'm still going to use them, but I'm going to use the crayon wax for the tiny ones. The tea cups I got are "antique" types, so they'll be real interesting (however, there are a couple I won't be using for the candles because the decorations on the inside is too pretty)!

Well, went to Hobby Lobby with my mom & sister, I just tagged along (they had a reason to go, lol), and I saw a candle making kit for $30 with a 30% off sale. My mom got it for me (I didn't have enough on hand for it), and the first candle I made had loads of bubbles & sank in the bottom nearly 2", so next time I make a pillar candle, I'm going to pour in 1/4ths, not at once or fast.....I'm taking 1lb of the wax (it came with 3lbs for 3 standard pillar candles, with a metal pillar mold), and melting it a little at a time to color it differently & will be making a few colored candles in baby food jars. I was suggested to keep the jars warm in case its cooler in the kitchen, so they don't crack, so I'm going to keep my oven lower then 200degree's and keep them on a cookie sheet to see how that works. I'll be taking the wick for 1 of the pillar's & cutting it down to size for the candles. I'll post the results after I get them all made.
